Most people have at least one piece of jewellery sitting in a drawer. Something inherited, something from a relationship that ended, something that was a gift but never quite right. Redesign takes what is already there and turns it into something you will actually wear.
What redesign actually means
Redesign starts with what you already have. The stones, the metal, the sentiment, whatever matters to you about the piece, stays. What changes is the setting, the shape, sometimes the metal colour, sometimes the entire structure of the piece.
The process starts with a conversation about what you have and what you want it to become. From there, José sketches options, you choose a direction, and the piece is rebuilt by hand at the South Surrey studio.
