THE STUDIO
José & Co. Custom Jewellers has been designing and crafting fine jewellery since 1973, building a studio known for one thing above all: pieces made by hand, by a master, for people who plan to keep them for a lifetime. He's been crafting jewelry for over 50 years, 35 of those being in South Surrey / White Rock.
At the heart of it is José Latchinian, Master Goldsmith. José works the way the trade was meant to be worked, at the bench, with the stones in front of him, shaping each piece from the first sketch to the final polish. When you commission something here, you are working directly with the person who will make it.
HOW WE WORK
Made from the first sketch to the final polish.
Every custom piece starts with a conversation. You tell us what you have in mind, or bring in something to reimagine, and José draws from there. You see the design take shape, choose the metal and the stones together, and watch a finished piece come to life that exists nowhere else.
It is a slower way of doing things, and that is the point. Alongside our custom work, we carry a considered selection of fine jewellery and watches, each chosen with the same eye we bring to the bench.
